Born on August 5, 1947, in Columbia, B.P. will be remembered for his profound service, diverse talents, and immense love. A man of dedication, B.P. honorably served his country as a Combat Marine during the Vietnam War. His commitment to service continued into his civilian life, where he served with distinction as an agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). B.P. was a man of many chapters, also dedicating years of hard work to the railroad.

Beyond his professional achievements, B.P. was creative and a true craftsman. His voice and passion resonated over the airwaves during his time working on radio stations, and his deep love for playing music came alive through his involvement in multiple bands. He was an educator at heart, sharing his vast knowledge by authoring an electronic instructional book. An outdoorsman of exceptional skill, B.P. was a renowned sharpshooter, celebrated for his mastery of archery, which culminated in owning and operating his own archery shop. His community impact was felt on the ballfields as a dedicated Little League coach, and in his quiet moments, he found joy in the meticulous craft of making custom duck calls.

More than anything else, B.P.’s greatest devotion was to his family. He was the absolute best husband to his wife, Brenda, whom he loved with his entire being. He was a pillar of wisdom, patience, and love for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, leaving them with invaluable life lessons and cherished memories.
