Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Brandon Kaye Polk, 76, of Columbia, who passed away Friday, August 18, 2023 at her residence. Interment will be at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Brandon was a long-time resident of Marion County. She enjoyed camping, arts & crafts, and trips on her motorcycle. She will be deeply missed by all friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Earl Bonds; Mother, Dorothy Kumpe Bonds; and one Brother, Donald Evans.

She is survived by her Husband of 45 years, Dale F. Polk, of Columbia; three Sons, Tony Gruehl (Kim), of Pineville, Louisiana, Marc Gruehl (Tracie), of Pineville, Louisiana, Jeff Gruehl (Arlene), of Pineville, Louisiana; one Daughter, Stephanie Knapp (John), of Pineville, Louisiana; one Sister, Sybil Labro, of Pineville, Louisiana; six Grandchildren, Garrett Gruehl, Austin Gruehl, Anthony Gruehl, Kimber Gruehl, Evan Knapp, Andrew Knapp; and two Great Grandchildren, Zaiden Gruehl, Natalie Gruehl.

Pallbearers will be Garrett Gruehl, Austin Gruehl, Anthony Gruehl, Kayde Bordelon, Andrew Knapp, and Klaus Jackson.
