Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home for Bobbie K. Buckley, 90, of Columbia, who passed away Monday, October 11, 2021. Interment will be at Caney Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Mark McArthur will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home.
Lifetime resident of Columbia, Mrs. Bobbie loved her family immensely. She found joy in caring for her Church Nursey babies. She enjoyed traveling, tending to her flowers, and assisting the elderly in the community. Mrs. Bobbie was a faithful servant to the Lord, always taking any opportunity to witness about her Jesus. Mrs. Bobbie will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Buckley was preceded in death by her Spouse, David Lamar Buckley; Father, Calhoun King; Mother, Gay King; two Sisters, Bettye Sanford, Margaret Robbins; one Brother, Al King.
She is survived by three Daughters, Debi Buckley, Dee Dee Armstrong, Kristie McGee (Victor); one Son, David E. Buckley; one Brother, James King; two Sisters, Pat Alcorn, Bertha Stampley; four Grandsons, Steven L. Gambrell (Heather), David W. Buckley, Chase Buckley (Keri), Cory Armstrong; two Granddaughters, Kari Beach (Skipper), Karen Stevenson (Adam); Nine Great-Grandsons, Tavis Beach, Brayden Ard, Tyler Armstrong, Gavin Armstrong, Tripp Buckley, Logan Buckley, Zane Purtlebaugh, Zack Purtlebaugh and Josh Stevenson; eight Great-Granddaughters, Kaci Beach, Jayde Beach, Kinnley Stevenson, Taylor Stevenson, Claire Buckley, Madeline Buckley, Marlie Buckley and Zoey Buckley; two Great-Great Grandaughters, Opal Purtlebaugh and Kendall Buckley and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tavis Beach, Conner Beach, Gavin Armstrong, Branden Fullen, Josh Stevenson and Kyle Ard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Armstrong and Brayden Ard.
