Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, 09/30/2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Betty Jean Register Stringer, 79, of Sandy Hook, who passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at The Myrtles Nursing Home. Interment will be at Hurricane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Sandy Hook. Bro. Marcus Kelly will officiate the services. Lindsay Rials will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Travis Register; Mother, Mary Nollie Miller Register; Son, Michael Glen Stringer; two Brothers, James F. Register and Travis G. Register, Jr.; two Sisters, Sylvia Marie Muller, and Elizabeth Ann Mars.

She is survived by her Husband, Donald Stringer of Sandy Hook, MS; Daughter, Linda Peak; Sister, Phyllis Holmberg (Ernie); Grandson, Cody Peak; Granddaughter, Carrie Peak.

Pallbearers will be Adam Stringer, Kenny Stringer, William Billingsley, Bobby Stringer, Kevin Wade, and Mike Robbins. Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny Wade and Doyle Tolar.
