Funeral services will be held at Hathorn Funeral Home on Sunday February 6, 2022, at 1:00 pm for Betty Sue Fortenberry, 92 of Columbia, who passed away Tuesday, February 01, 2022. Committal service will also be at Hathorn Funeral Home Chapel.  Bro. Tom Thurman and Bro. Paul Walker will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 on Sunday.

Mrs. Fortenberry lived a full life of 92 years. She participated in various clubs such as the Ball Club, Bunko Club and the Caliopean Club. Mrs. Sue was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Columbia where she loved her Sunday school class. She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting her Great Grand Children whom she loved dearly.

Mrs. Sue was preceded in death by her Husband, Victor H. Fortenberry; her Parents, Percy Riley and Eula Baggett Riley.

She is survived by her two sons, Keith Fortenberry (Judy), Newton Fortenberry (Kim); one Grandson, Jamie Fortenberry (Kim); two Granddaughters, Katheryn Buice (Randy), Breanne Johnston (Jason); five Great Grandchildren, Kate Fortenberry, Andrew Fortenberry, Cooper Johnston, Addison Johnston and Lillian Buice.

Pallbearers will be Keith Fortenberry, Jamie Fortenberry, Jason Johnston, Shane Reid.
