Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Betty C. Arrant, 81, of Columbia, who passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at Asbury Hospice House. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Dr. Bryant Barnes will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Maggie Cox; brother, Jerry Cox; and sister, Frances Benton. She is survived by her son, Milton Wade Sanders; and sister, Claris Cox.

Pallbearers will be Eugene Blue Green, Charlie Pope, Larry Bedwell, and Mike Russell.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite children's charity or to the First Baptist Church of Columbia.
