Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Ben F. Stevens, 87, of Improve, who passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at Forrest General Hospital. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Rev. Darel Daniels will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Lois Ball Stevens; Father, Walter Stevens; Mother, Susie Sistrunk Stevens; two Sisters, Louise Burbarette, Betty Sue Stevens and Bobbie Stevens.

He is survived by his two Sons, Ricky Stevens (Lauren) and Edwin Stevens; Niece, Rosemary Leming; seven Granddaughters, Amy Stevens, Angela Toney, Jesica Stevens, Erica Stevens, Kayla Morgan, Savannah Beach and Cheyenne Stevens; fifteen Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Davis, Wesley Toney, Gavin Magee, Bobby Sullivan, Reggie Sullivan and Keith Sullivan.
