Barbara Alice Easterling's Obituary
A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Morgantown Cemetery for Barbara Alice Easterling, 80, of Columbia, who passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the Myrtles Nursing Home. Rev. Pettis Brewer will officiate.
As a long-time resident of Marion County, Barbara was raised in Sandy Hook. She was faithful minister's wife as she and her husband, Rev. Darrell, pastored several Church of God congregations in south Mississippi. Barbara was a hardworking woman committed to her career in the medical industry. In her later years, she especially took pleasure in being a caregiver to the elderly. She adored her only grandchild, Jordan.
She was preceded in death by Husband, Rev. Darrell Easterling; her Parents, Alcus & Flossie Jones; one Son, Daniel Easterling; one Sister, Lois Edwards; and one Brother, John Henry Jones.
She is survived by her Son, Jonathan Easterling (Nancy) of Columbia; and one Grandchild, Jordan Easterling of Columbia.
