Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Barbara Branch, 81, of Columbia, who passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at Asbury Hospice House. Interment will be at Old Brushy Creek Cemetery. Bro. Darel Daniels will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:30am until 11:30am on March 26, 2021, at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Ms. Branch was a member of Gospel Hall Church in Tylertown. For over thirty years, Barbara delivered The Clarion Ledger and Jackson Daily News on her newspaper route. Her grandchildren and many others share fond memories of joining her on the delivery route and spending valuable time together. She loved her family deeply, taking care of her parents and babysitting her grandchildren often. While she never had great wealth, she always gave of what she had! Whether it was a place to sleep or a meal at her table, she looked to meet the needs of those around her. Barbara loved the Lord and trusted Him to provide for her every need.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, J.D. & Effie Allen; four Sons, Winston Branch, Roger Branch, David Branch, Sam Branch; one Daughter, Tami McLemore; one Sister, Virginia Branch; one Brother, Donald Allen; and two Grandchildren, Chris Branch, Sandy Simmons.

She is survived by her Daughter, Julie Mullins; twelve Grandchildren, Samantha Branch, Jennifer Terrell, Misty Bowman, Jason Branch, Naomi Jones, Kayla Cook, Craig Cook, Eric Cook, Rhiannon Branch, Alex Branch, Daniel Branch, Jared Ross; and a number of Great Grandchildren.
