Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Aundrea Cox Dyess, 65 of Columbia, who passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026. Bro. Wade Barnes will officiate the services.

The Dyess family will receive guests on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am up until the hour of service at 11:00 am at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia.

Aundrea Cox Dyess was a warm and welcoming person who never met a stranger and cherished every moment spent with her husband and beloved sons and grandchildren. She found joy in the simple, creative pleasures of life, whether she was peacefully fishing, camping outdoors, crocheting, tending to her garden, or planting vibrant flowers. Her home and heart were also deeply shared with her cherished dogs, Bella, Railyn, and Mack, reflecting her vibrant and nurturing spirit.

She is preceded in death by her Parents; Daulton Cox & Shirley Ryals Cox; two Grandchildren, Landon and Logan Dyess;

She is survived by her Husband, Marshall “Dock” Dyess, of Columbia;

two Sons, Marshall D. Dyess, Jr. (Jessica), of Columbia; Justin Thomas Dyess (Paige), of Columbia. one Brother, Tommy Cox (Theresa), of Columbia; two Sisters, Kathy Cox Grant (Melvin), of Columbia; Dejuona Cox; three Grandchildren, Marshall Thomas Dyess, Presten Dyess, Jessie Kemp.
