Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Amy Beth Morris, 76 of Columbia, who passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Forrest General Hospital. Interment will be at Improve Baptist Church in Columbia. Bro. Darel Daniels will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Morris was a long-time resident of Marion County. She loved her family and friends. Her biggest joys were her two grandsons and her daughter. She was a faithful member of Improve Baptist Church and big supporter of Duke basketball.

She was preceded in death her husband, Samuel Morris; and parents, Sherman and Verda Stringer. She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Redfield (Nathan) of Pineville, LA; and two grandsons, Cooper Redfield, and Miles Redfield both of Pineville, LA.

Pallbearers will be Clay Broom, Sam Broom, Brian Haddox, Drew Haddox, Art Morris, Eli Watts, Russel Thornton and Chris Morgan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tucker English, and Warren English.
